Program Contact Qualification
Recognized leadership within the target population or group Willingness to consistently commit time. Proven reliability and trustworthiness. Willingness to help out by occasionally opening for, or covering, other programs Ability to work without direct supervision Ability and initiative to communicate program effectiveness, successes, and challenges with the Board Willingness to take direction from the Board of Directors. Volunteer Board of Directors Qualification
General qualifications Bachelor or graduate degree in a public service field (social work, education, public health, medicine, etc) or four years’ experience in substantial public service. Demonstrated commitment to LGBT+ causes Being completely "out" with their sexual and romantic orientation. Supportive of diversity within LGBT+ populations and perspectives. Affirms equality for all genders, sexual orientations, and romantic orientations. Supports the mission of The OUTreach Center without reservation. Communicates effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner Specialization in one or more of the following areas: Finance and budgeting Leadership development Personnel management Medical Health Mental Health Community organizing Curriculum and Instruction (adult or youth) Volunteer coordination Social media and/or marketing
