Sue Dell
A lifelong Girl Scout, Sue Dell graduated magna cum laude from UCLA in Sociology and Women’s Studies in 1981 and began working in media relations, fundraising, outreach, and community organizing in the domestic violence shelter network, LGBTQ-focused social service agencies, and substance abuse non-profits. Sue graduated Law School and has worked in Juvenile Dependency and Adoption Law since 1994.
After a transfer to Lancaster, Sue founded and chaired the City of Lancaster Human Relations Commission in 2008. Sue was also a founding boardmember of The OUTreach Center and served for 9 years. Sue has been presented the Athena Award, the Jeanette Rankin Service Award, the NAACP Freedom Fighter Award, and the CASA Court Service Award. She recently returned to lead the 50+ Group at The OUTreach Center and is thrilled to see the consistent support we provide to our community.
